Plan Your Central NJ Winter Wonderland Wedding

December 17, 2015 | Posted in Trends, Weddings

You’ve decided to tie the knot in wintertime. While your chances of snow in New Jersey are promising, it doesn’t have to be snowing to have the winter wonderland wedding of your dreams. Here are some creative ways to give you New Jersey wedding that festive, whimsical, fairytale feel.

Dress the part. Brides, take advantage of the chilly temperatures to dress up you and your bridesmaids’ gowns. These fur wraps looked cozy and chic during this winter wedding. For another creative wardrobe twist, look for a long-sleeved gown or swap your wedding heels for warm boots.

Go monochrome. Try using variations of white and ivory for an elegant winter look. At this Windsor Ballroom wedding, the couple used our white chair covers and white chair wraps paired with simple white tree branches for a breathtaking ceremony space.

Let it snow! Whether scattered on your reception table or part of your wedding cake, snowflakes can add that touch of sparkle to your winter wedding theme.

Or, for a surprise that will truly wow your guests, many wedding DJs can make it look as though it’s snowing on the dance floor. Paired with special LED lighting offered by all our Hotels Unlimited venues, the fake snow effect* looks beautiful at this New Jersey wedding at our sister property, the Versailles Ballroom.

And, if you’re lucky enough to get snow on your wedding day, use it to its full advantage! There’s nothing more magical than sharing a moment with your loved one in the snow. The photo of this New Jersey couple speaks for itself:
